Holland is famous for it’s flowers and from mid March through mid May, the countryside is transformed into a sea of flowers including crocus, daffodils, hyacinths and of course tulips. April is the most popular time to visit Holland to see the tulips.

There is a famous park in Holland called “Keukenof”  between Amsterdam and The Hague with more than 7 million flowers blooming during the flower season. There is also a flower parade in April, where you can see 20+ beautifully decorated floats. In addition to the wonderful flowers, there’s lots to experience in this region and our friends at AMA Waterways have a fabulous river cruise called “Tulip Time” that highlights the park and windmills along with other fab. activities such as chocolate making and Belgian Waffle making and many more.

Have you heard of the famous annual Chelsea Flower Show in Great Britain? Now in it’s 29th year, people flock from all over the World to see this magnificent display. Held in the May each year, it features 35+ themed gardens and 500+ exhibitors.
